Fearful Dream

I suggest reading this article first before continuing.
I have been having a recurring dream where I am trapped in a hole, with a large rock blocking the way out. I cannot even stand in that hole, and sometimes the dream takes on another version where I am locked in a box and unable to stand as well. Each time I have this dream, I am filled with terror, and even as I write this article, I can sense the discomfort in my mind, as it recalls those horrifying dreams.
We have these types of dreams because we only identify with our physical bodies. When our physical body is tied or locked, we can’t do anything, since everything we imagine can only be done physically through the body. However, when I remember the true self, I realize I am the essence that permeates every being in this universe. In this state of awareness, my sense of body expands beyond boundaries, encompassing all bodies. Just as my conscious thought of moving a hand signals that specific part of my body, causing it to move, my conscious thought, when fully aware of the true self, signals many beings around me, prompting them to move. They may not understand why they suddenly have the urge to do so, but in doing this, they come across the hole and clear the path, freeing the physical body that is trapped inside. From their perspective, it may seem like a mere coincidence, but from the perspective of the true self, it is a conscious act.
Many times, I feel fear because of the selfish actions of political or religious leaders. However, I now understand that they can only manipulate to a certain extent, as the entire universe moves according to the conscious thought of those (it may include you also) who have realized the true self. If ten people were to discover the true self, they would be perceived as a one entity inhabiting ten different bodies. This concept is often represented by an angelic figure adorned with numerous hands.
“In realizing the true self, we hold the power to move mountains and free ourselves from the confines of fear.”
When I mention ‘move mountains,’ I do not mean that my (or anyone) physical body will physically move it by pushing it with hands. That’s how general media projects the power of God**, which gives the impression that God has got six packs with great strength doing all those magical deeds. Rather, it implies that circumstances or events will occur that lead to the mountains being moved, such as the government deciding to drill them for a specific reason, with a large team working together on that assignment.
You can actually understand all those metaphors only from the expanded perspective. Until then, you see god as some powerful person doing all that you cannot do and also conflict with others who see the same god in another form.
**God does not have a specific physical form. It manifests through a person who has realized and merged with the true self. We can give examples of such persons like Rama, Krishna, Jesus, Mohammed, Ramana Maharshi and many more. We often label someone as God when they possess magical powers. However, all of us possess the same powers, but the distinction lies in the extent to which we realize and let our true self shine through.
