Physical Reality

Part I
I doubt the existence of physical reality. Scientifically, the process of seeing objects involves the eyes and the brain. When light reflects off an object, it enters the eyes and passes through the cornea, pupil, and lens. The lens focuses the light on the retina, which has specialized cells called photoreceptors. These cells convert light into electrical signals that go to the brain through the optic nerve. The brain interprets these signals and creates our visual perception of objects. The colors we see are projections of our brain. In reality, objects have no colors; it’s the light reflecting off them has colors. Considering this, I can’t imagine how physical reality truly appears. I guess there is no physical reality, but there are energy blocks. Even our bodies should be set of energy blocks that the brain beautifully projects.
The brain creates a colorful world for us to have a richer experience. However, this same world appears plain to bats and we don’t know how it appears to other species. Sometimes, the brain projects additional objects, like angels, that are only visible to a few people. The brain doesn’t just process sensory information, but also considers our state of mind could be the reason for this. This also explains why people with multiple personalities can see different versions of themselves, including physiological changes. The brain continuously projects all of this.
According to a spiritual teacher, physical reality doesn’t exist. Instead, your reality is determined by your will, sensory information, and belief systems. Each person can have their own unique reality. For example, there is a story of a student who believed his master could walk on water, even though the master couldn’t. Your brain projects what you strongly believe. This means you can potentially walk on water, fly in the sky, or become invisible by changing your belief systems. The placebo and nocebo effects also support this idea. However, instead of overriding general beliefs, it’s better to honor them. By doing so, you can have a more fulfilling experience in life. Let’s take the example of placing a coin in the hole of a carom board. By following the rules of the game and successfully striking the coin into the hole, you can feel a sense of achievement and your skill develops. Honoring the general framework set for everyone on Earth, rather than trying to change it with your willpower, will lead to personal growth as you will try to change yourself (especially, inner world) than changing the external world.

Objects do not have colors; it is the light reflecting off them that creates colors. This makes it difficult to imagine how physical reality truly appears. Perhaps there is no physical reality, but rather energy blocks that, when hit by light and reflect it, trigger a complex process involving our eyes, senses, and brain. This allows us to see the reality that our brain constructs.
Think about the sophisticated technology within our bodies that allows us to perceive a beautiful world out of colorless energy blocks. It’s not just about seeing, but also about our other senses being able to feel touch, hear, smell, and taste from these same energy blocks. We are witnessing and experiencing all the sensations generated by our complex bodily processes.
I feel immense gratitude towards everyone who made this possible. It’s no wonder that it took millions of years for our bodies to evolve and reach their current state. We struggle just to construct a small building with the materials we have, but think about how much sophisticated technology is present in our brains. It allows us to see formless, shapeless energy blocks as various materials with different properties and consistently maintaining those properties.
When someone shoots at you, a bullet pierces your body, blood comes out, and you feel immense pain. However, this is all a projection created by the brain. But in reality, it’s just energy changes causing reflections to shift, and our brain projects these changed reflections, as the mentioned drama.
You are the consciousness, observing the physical body, the world it presents, and the thoughts, feelings, and experiences it generates. You also have the power to create something new and improve the body and the world around you. You can even work at the fundamental level of energy blocks(instead of on the world constructed by brain), causing the reflections to change and thus influencing the brain to project a different world. This may seem like magic or a miracle to others as they suddenly start seeing something new.
