Flexibility and openness to change are the keys to societal evolution and individual empowerment.
Society offers a framework for individuals to follow, but it is important to note that it is a flexible set of general guidelines that is constantly evolving. The phrase “General guidelines” itself implies they are broad and open to improvement and growth. This empowers us to think beyond conventional boundaries, explore innovative approaches, and integrate them into our guidelines if they prove valid. However, resistance to change will always exist, and it is important to accept this as normal rather than becoming frustrated by it. Flexibility and openness to change are crucial for the sustainability of nations, religions, communities, and education curricula. Without these qualities, they become rigid, mechanical, and even oppressive for those seeking new ideas. Ultimately, their inability to adapt leads to their demise.
Recently, I came across a new science called Bio-geometry. It is based on the concept that the universe resonates with certain shapes. Wearing jewelry or a bracelet with these shapes has healing effects. Personally, this concept resonates with me as I understand the scientific basis behind it. However, I worry that others may ridicule me if I embrace it. I have a choice: suppress my interest to fit in or embrace it and potentially contribute value to society. Wearing this jewelry is like expressing my unique signature in life. It stands out in a society filled with mechanicalness, like a diamond in a pile of coal. Additionally, this adds value to society because curious people may ask about it, giving me the opportunity to explain the science behind it. This can help them evolve and have a ripple effect on society. Consequently, it is vital that we express ourselves without fearing societal judgment, since it not only brings us joy but also has the potential to benefit the very society that judges us. However, if our ideas are too extreme for society to accept all at once, it may be necessary to introduce changes gradually.
