"Embrace your higher self, for it holds the key to unity and harmony in a world filled with conflicts."

I can clearly sense that there are two beings within me. One is the mind, and the other is beyond the mind. Let's refer to the latter as the higher self or true self.

Usually, the mind assumes the role of the Self, creating a state known as false ego. In this state, the mind takes ownership of the body and makes all the decisions based on its acquired knowledge. It primarily operates for the comfort of the body and its attachments, such as family and friends. The mind expects the events in the world to be favorable to the body it identifies with. This makes the world completely personal in the sense that every event is judged from the perspective of the body to which mind identified with and labels them as good/bad.

However, when the mind realizes the higher self, it becomes a tool for the higher self to interact with the world. It no longer identifies with any particular entity, and the world becomes completely impersonal. As it does not have any identification with a body, it cannot have any preferences or expectations. It openly observes the unfolding events in the world and take actions based on what it deems appropriate.

A person who is aware of the higher self approaches every event with the intention of helping others evolve, specifically their minds, to realize the higher self. They understand that the shift in consciousness is the only true solution to any problem they may face. They recognize that staying at the level of the mind will never truly resolve any issue, as every mind operates from the perspective of the body it has identified with, solely focused on comforting that body while ignoring others. Finding a solution that brings comfort to all bodies balancing all perspectives is nearly impossible. However, when individuals evolve to realize their higher self, the solution becomes simple. They no longer have preferences, as preferences arise only when operating from a perspective (like a body). Without a perspective, all preferences vanish, just as darkness disappears with the advent of the sun. They remain open to whatever events unfold before them, eliminating the possibility of conflicts.

For example, I want to go to a coffee shop to relax, while she wants to go to the supermarket for routine grocery shopping. From the perspective of the mind, it would develop its own logic to argue that going to the coffee shop is the correct decision. It might mention how hard I worked all week and how she didn't respond to me that day and many more. Similarly, she will have her own logics to go to supermarket at that time. Both are operating from the level of mind and now, it is nearly impossible to arrive at consensus.

We can clearly see the difference in the intention between two beings, one is “Tit for tat” and the other is growth. Tension and many such hard feelings in one, clarity and peace in another. One is working to achieve joy and the other is working in joy.

Notes:

From the perspective of the higher self, the primary intention behind all actions is personal growth for all. Even though the intention is good but that may not always result in actions comfortable for all. For example, the situations the universe presents to us are meant to stir our minds and promote growth. We can clearly see both the good and bad, the happy and sorrowful aspects of life. The universe does this out of love, even though the mind may not perceive it in that way.
