Flow of life

Just as Hercules used the flow of rivers to clean out the Augean stables, the powerful flow of life was cleaning out whatever was left of me - Michael A. Singer.


Like a river melting rocks over time, every event of life chips away at my ego, until I am left unattached to any fixed identity. I simply existed, fully present, with no sense of self that could be defined or confined.


When reflecting on the past, I am reminded of many painful events that provoked both harsh reactions and, later, more measured responses. Initially, I would react strongly when my ego was at its peak. However, as time went on and I experienced the impact of multiple events, my ego gradually eroded and I learned to respond more thoughtfully.


Additional Notes:

Expecting a moment to unfold specifically invites various struggles. In simpler words, it means being trapped in the ocean of samsara. However, when you approach the moment with openness, without attaching labels or expectations, accepting it as it is, and doing your best, you can experience everlasting joy.
