As the infinite and omnipresent consciousness, I am all that is. I exist in countless forms, experiencing myself from different perspectives. When I remember this profound truth, I am overwhelmed with an immense love for everything and everyone.
Context
Sometimes, when sleep eludes me, and my mind wanders, I indulge in daydreaming. In my reverie, I envision myself as a bird soaring freely in the open skies, or as a fish gracefully gliding through the vast depths of the Pacific Ocean. I become a singer, using my voice to express the deep feelings of love within me. I transform into a dancer, allowing my body to be moved by the eruption of emotions from within. And as a cow showers love upon its newborn calf, I envision myself as a ruler, showering love for everyone. The possibilities are endless, and these vivid imaginings calm my mind, eventually lulling me into a peaceful sleep, and the dream disappears. However, sometimes disharmony prevails when I find myself in a semi-conscious state, not fully slept and not fully awakened. Characters from my dreams driven by this unconsciousness clash and create chaos, abruptly jerking me back to consciousness. All characters start behaving cohesively once I am back to consciousness.
There are parallels between these daydreams and the nature of existence itself. Just as I experience myself in various forms in my dreams, one Self experiences as many forms in this universe. Infused with the consciousness of oneness as an integral part of their DNA, each form gracefully takes part in the divine choreography, expressing its uniqueness in perfect harmony with the world it inhabits. Vyasa Maharshi symbolically depicted this divine dance, known as rasa Leela, where Krishna represented the Self, Gopika represented a distinct form, and the positioning of Krishna between Gopikas portrayed the presence of the same Self in all. This feeling of oneness erupts from within continuously like light emitting from the Sun propelling the actions of all beings collaboratively, maintaining the delicate balance of life. Your heartbeat may come to a halt, the flow of Ganga may come to a standstill, oceans may run dry, and the Sun may lose its light, but the ceaseless voice of the Self for unity echoes, ensuring your connection to the world around you.
In this universe, all beings are diverse manifestations of the same Self and also are aware of their connection. So, they coexist in a state of cooperation, tranquility, and unity. This harmony among all living entities reflects the interconnected nature of existence. They have the freedom to explore and experience life in various ways. Just like children who sometimes engage in crazy activities, these beings have chosen to create the illusion of separation to experience a world where individuals are not aware of the entity connecting them all. To manifest this illusion, they have manipulated their DNA, resulting in a default feeling of separation and manifested the same on the planet Earth. This feeling of separation has become the foundation for many systems and structures in society, including god, religion, politics, education, careers, families, and much more. Everything built is based on the premise of being separate from one another. However, this illusion of separation cannot withstand the unstoppable force of the Self’s desire for unity. Just as a small patchwork cannot hold back a flood, the feeling of oneness that emerges from within like lava erupting from a newly shattered mountain with great force, cannot be stopped by the patchwork done on DNA and inevitably engulfs us all, bringing about peace and harmony. Throughout history, there have been individuals who deeply understood this inherent oneness. Figures like Krishna, Jesus, Mohammed, and Ramana Maharshi exemplified this profound interconnectedness. In more recent times, an increasing number of people have been experiencing glimpses of this interconnectedness. It is as if the feeling of oneness is leaking from within, ready to erupt with a significant force, saturating the entire creation with unconditional love.
Addressing fears
Having shared this background, I now want to offer you a glimpse into the tricks I use to handle various fears.
In any situation, it is crucial to remember your true self and recognize that we are all interconnected as the same Self appears as all. This remembrance allows you to unite with the entire universe and adopt an inclusive approach, causing you to feel love for everyone. By including everything in your consciousness and feeling love for everyone, you can create a positive environment.
Let’s imagine being in a forest and suddenly encountering a lion or being in a remote area faced with a serial killer. Naturally, fear would overwhelm you, but giving in to that fear would only worsen the situation. Instead, if you remember your true self and acknowledge that the same Self is present in all forms, including the wild, you can release yourselves from fear and cultivate profound love towards all, including the lion and serial killer. This love would create a field around you that can potentially alter the consciousness of those nearby, transforming their wild nature into a more harmonious state. A similar phenomenon may explain why animals of all kinds peacefully coexist in the hermitages of great sages like Valmiki.
Now, let’s consider a different scenario where you find yourself in an exam but have forgotten everything because of extreme fear. Here, you can use the same technique by feeling your expanded form, which acknowledges your true self and connects you to the entire universe. By opening up our minds beyond the limitations of the physical mind, we can tap into the vast intelligence of the universe. This shift in consciousness will immediately ease your fear and allow the universe to guide you with the thoughts best fit for the situation you are in.
I do not suggest approaching an exam or dangerous situation without adequate preparation or knowledge. However, in instances where we may struggle because of fear, this wisdom can be incredibly beneficial. By keeping ourselves free from negative emotions such as fear and embracing positive emotions like love, we can navigate these challenging situations in the best possible way.
I appear as many characters in my dream and the entire dream is within me. The Self appears as everything in this universe, and the entire universe is within that Self. You are the Self in reality, and the entire universe is part of you. Just like a common man feels, hands and legs are part of his body and loves them. Everything in this universe is part of you, and you would love all of them in that expanded form. Experience the refreshing sensation of this expanded form, as it resets your mind to a state of renewal, akin to rebooting a computer.
