Choice

One of my relatives has been diagnosed with a medical condition. As part of the treatment, he will receive medicine through an IV, which takes approximately 12 hours and this should be repeated for give weeks. During this time, they must remain in bed. This can be challenging for anyone, and it is especially tough for young people. The doctors have meticulously studied the case and have found a way to administer the medicine with no side effects. However, unexpectedly, a new side effect emerged, one that no one had expected, and the treatment had to be stopped.
When I heard this news, a thought suddenly crossed my mind: perhaps it was my relative’s choice to leave the hospital, unable to bear the treatment process or for some other reason. And somehow, the universe fulfilled that choice, surpassing the calculations of a team of world-renowned doctors. It is moments like these that make me believe the possibilities available to the universe are far greater than what our mainstream physical science can explain. Our current science can only provide explanations for why certain events occur, but it falls short in predicting what can happen.
Another instance I came across further strengthens my belief. It is the story of Anita Moorjani, who was battling cancer. Despite the doctors’ best efforts based on mainstream science, her health continued to deteriorate. She reached the final stages of the disease and even slipped into a coma. The doctors declared that she only had a couple of hours to live. However, at that critical stage, Anita made a conscious choice to stay in her body. Some may question how a coma patient can make choices, as we often assume they are not conscious. But this story disproves that assumption.
Once Anita made her firm choice, something extraordinary happened. Her tumors, which had spread throughout her body, shrank by 70% in just four days. Eventually, she made a complete recovery, with no trace of cancer in her body after five weeks. The doctors were bewildered by her rapid and unexplainable recovery. It became clear that mainstream science, which excels at explaining why events occur, provided no scientific reasons for her remarkable turnaround.
The point I would like to highlight here is that it is our choice running the show and nothing else. However, you may argue that many things mainstream science has been telling us are turning out to be true. In response to that, I would like to point out that they are turning out to be true because you believed them to be true and you are making a choice within that framework. For instance, when someone believes that they cannot survive cancer because that is what science is saying, they have made a conscious or subconscious choice to die. Consequently, death comes to their body. On the other hand, if you have the courage to make a choice to survive, you will survive and doctors bewilder with no logical explanation, causing them to pause and reflect.
Mainstream will never acknowledge the power of your choice, as it would collapse the entire business or economic model. Although I typically refrain from making such statements, I find myself compelled to do so at this moment.

You may ask me one question: if I had made a choice of having a car, will it appear? The answer is yes; it appears. However, society has conditioned our minds to believe that we can only buy something when we earn money through a job or business. These conventional means are seen as reliable ways to purchase a car bearing all that competitive and mechanical processes. If you accept this belief, then you will make a choice within that belief system. That choice is to pursue a job or business in order to buy a car. But this means you are not making a choice freely. You are making it within the bounds of your belief system. However, you have the power to break free from these boundaries and make a free choice. You can focus on what best you can do moment to moment in alignment with your strengths. Never worry about how that will fetch the car. Your mind may not be able to conceive the “how” part, as it is limited. But the universe is full of infinite possibilities that your mind cannot even imagine. Miracles happen that the mind cannot comprehend in advance. It can only understand them later on. This is the trust you must keep in the universe. Focus on what best you can do every moment.
You may ask me one question: can we resolve all the chaos in the world simply by choosing peace? The answer is yes. When you make the choice for a peaceful world, the reality you will experience will undoubtedly be peaceful. In fact, I have personally made that choice and witnessed the universe manifesting just by changing my perspective. This is my own experience, which allows me to speak confidently about it. The key to understanding this concept lies in surrendering, as beautifully explained by Michael A. Singer. Let me provide you with a glimpse of it. When your consciousness is attached to a body, let’s say Vijay, you tend to assess reality based on how it affects Vijay’s convenience or inconvenience. On the other hand, when you are connected to pure consciousness, you seamlessly embrace reality and utilize Vijay’s body to respond in the best possible way. When you accept the reality, what is left is peace and joy.
